Certified coach, author and speaker, Denise Sarkor was born in Monrovia, Liberia, raised in northern New Jersey and currently resides in Atlanta, GA. She is Chief Empowerment Officer & Lead Coach at New Roots Development, LLC—a professional training and coaching company, supporting career professionals, start-up founders and experienced business owners through a range of changes. Denise previously worked as an international banker and development consultant at institutions such as Goldman Sachs, Citigroup and the World Bank, and she leverages these experiences to serve her clients.

Following completion of an ICF accredited program in 2016, Denise earned the designation of Certified Life Coach (CLC), and in June 2019, she completed the IBM Blue Core Executive Coach certification. She has also served as trainer, certifying cohorts of IBM coaches. As her educational foundation, Denise holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a Masters in International Finance and Economic Policy from Columbia University.

Lover of the arts, global citizen and humanitarian, Denise supports the causes of economic empowerment, education, and human rights. She has found her calling in helping those who aspire.
